CMS overview
CMS is a self-hosted content management system: models are defined in code, content lives in your database, and publishing goes through a versioned flow.
When it fits
Section titled “When it fits”- Your content model belongs in version control instead of being clicked together in an admin panel.
- You already have a rendering layer (Astro, Next.js, Vue, Mini Program) and only need content plus an API.
- You want to decide where the data lives.
Where to start
Section titled “Where to start”- Getting started — running locally and reading your first entry.
- API overview — how a frontend reads and writes content.
Status
Section titled “Status”CMS is in beta: the core model and read/write API work, while the publishing flow and admin UI are still settling. Interfaces may change before 1.0 — check the changelog on upgrade.
